It’s a funny topic. And Bill Maher has had several comments on the state of men in the world, in relation to porn, that are disturbing. Mentioning that many men in America, have left their wives unsatisfied because of their preference of porn. And also, that there is a movement in Japan, where men have become immune to the temptations of women.

Porn is not a termite to the foundation of society, it is an industry that has existed for a long time, that through technology, has evolved into something that many people enjoy. It does not promote anything, it gives people what they want in a safe way.

Another part of the internet’s evolution is that people don’t like to talk about, is that we figured out a lot more about the sexual part of the male and female brain. Preferences, fetishes, colors, positions, ethnic preference, and I could go on for days, but its not a negative thing, people just learned more about themselves, and that’s good.

I have read a lot about all of the issues involved in this debate, and I enjoy the political banter that comes with it, Charles Sheen would know what I was talking about.

It seems in this country, that every political scandal goes one of two ways: The politician dissapears, or the politician has a christian enough constituency to get re-elected. The liberals in scandals tend to step down, and avoid the mess, the conservatives change the rhetoric.

This brings me to Newt Gingrich.

That’s a punch line in some regions.

I might consider being more objective, but nobody reads my blog, so I will say it like this: The Republican party is a reality show, funded by people who have a lust for an America that does not exist, and every major corporation in the country. The Democrats are bad too, but seriously…let me explain.

When Democratic supporters get let down by their candidates, its because, they weren’t progressive enough. When Republican supporters get let down their candidates, blame is split between two different parties, the richest people in the country, who avoid all taxes illegally, and the guy that just beat his wife because the cowboys lost, and they raised the price of Milwaukee’s Best.

So the next scandal: The NFL Lockout.

If you are a human being in the United States, and you support the owners, something is wrong with you. Basically what you are saying is, if Mark Cuban’s group of gladiators beats Jerry Jones’ group of gladiators, and they all die, I’m cool with it, as long as Mark Cuban owns my team.

The players are not overpaid, they are compensated exactly based on their ability, like many conservatives would love! They deserve health benefits when they have reached a tenure in the league, and they provide what everyone in this country with a pulse wants, NFL games.

Even if you don’t care about the NFL, your bills are lower because it exists. Employment is higher because it exists. I’ll bet Obama’s ratings are even effected by how well the Bears do, and I’m not angry with that. The NFL is our nation’s game, and if a group of 32 people that contains so many slime balls, keep us from having it, that’s a travesty.

We have it great here in America, they don’t have it so great in the Middle East/North Africa. They’re pist, and they’re showing it, maybe that’s what we should do?

What if there were massive rallies in every NFL city, saying, get a FUCKING deal done!?

I think it would work, the only people talking about anything relating to an NFL labor deal are the guests who are posturing on ESPN radio. This affects all of us, it might sound stupid to the non-sports fan, but its an economic concern as well. The deal needs to get done, compromises have to be made, and that’s the end of it.

It may seem like the two topics aren’t related, but for single men in this country, believe me, they are like friends with benefits. We need both of them, and without saying something derogatory about women, you could all learn from this, we will let our guard down a little, but please, accept the porn and football.
